The Precor's engineers adapted their commercial-grade elliptical machines to provide a fitness center quality workout to the home users. They placed these crosstrainers into the new Energy Series. It is equipped with the patented and unique CrossRamp® Technology. It allows you to alter the height of the elliptical path your foot travels (Variable Stride Geometry), allowing you to target specific muscles or all major lower body muscle groups. Also, it allows you to adjust the elevation (the EFX-225 features 8 motorized levels, from 15° to 25°).

The EFX-225 console is equipped with the high contrast blue-white LCD. It comes with 10 preset workouts and 2 user IDs. Right above the display there is a reading/tablet rack. You can place your iPod right in front of you and connect it to the console via the headphone jack. The console also allows you to track your heart rate wirelessly. It works with any Polar® compatible 5 KHz chest strap transmitter.
