The MAX M5 has been discontinued and replaced with the more expensive - MAX M6 (see details). However, for the price of M3 (around $1,599), you can buy higher quality elliptical by Sole Fitness - the E35.

The Bowflex MAX Trainer M5 is the most popular and best selling elliptical machine within the Max Series. And that's for a reason. It is placed right in the middle, between the entry-level model M3 and much more expensive M7. While the first one is a basic model and the higher M7 comes with tons of fancy features (a bit overpriced), the Max M5 offers exactly the right value for the money.

The computer console, with a nice and clear backlit display, is preloaded with 8 workout programs and allows 2 user profiles. It has bluetooth 4.0 and can be synchronized with the apps for Apple iOS and Android devices. Heart rate can be monitored wirelessly with a chest strap (which is included) or with contact grip sensors on the handlebars (not available on the M3, for instance).
