According to its "low" price (around $2,900), the EFX 5.25 belongs to the line of Precor's cheaper elliptical crosstrainers, though this is an excellent fitness machine. It looks like an upgraded model of the 5.23 which is even cheper than 5.25 (review and comparison of their features you'll find below).

The main feature of the Precor EFX 5.25 elliptical trainer is its patented digitally adjustable CrossRamp that angles from 15 to 25 degrees. This is the main difference between this machine and the 5.23 which has manually adjustable incline ramp. Both ellipticals provides 16 resistance levels and 8 workout programs. The 5.25 has an additional option which allows you to enter and store personal preferences for 2 different users. A great option for households with more than one user. Everything else is pretty the same on both machines.

The computer console comes with a wide 4x3" baclikt LCD display. It tracks your time, speed, distance, calories burned, program profile, resistance, SmartRate®, strides per minute, and heart rate which can be monitored through the sensors built in handlebars or via a chest strap transmitter.
